Some thoughts on making games…

Hey all!

Thanks for stopping by. I have been pretty busy over the past year being involved in many projects that are game and non game related. Which naturally leads to less spare time on my end. Which is really OK. I can pay the bills and that’s what is most important after all. I have a family to take care of and I am sure many of you know how that feels. I have done a few of my own games in the past. The last one was called “The Other Brothers” and I am still very proud of what we have achieved.

I have been trying to get a new project off the ground. In fact, I tried/wanted to do a few projects over the past 1.5 or so years. Pretty much all of them died at some stage. Mostly, due to the fact that I don’t have enough cash sitting in the bank to allow myself to focus over the next 6-9 months. My last attempt (Wild West Outlaws) suffers from that problem as well. .

It’s rather depressing but it’s the reality I have to face. I decided that this is perhaps a good time to take a step back and only concentrate on making very small art pieces or very small experiments in VR. This will keep the frustration level at a minimum. I have only so much spare time, so I think it’s best to spend it wisely and make it fun. Speaking of fun, my love for Music (as some of you know) and VR (Oculus Rift and HTC Vive) will be part of my new direction. More on that soon!
